Drifters is a traditional fish and chip shop offering a waiter service restaurant and takeaway.

Drifters has been a popular destination for locals and visitors alike for many decades. We have been frying from our current Grade 2 listed building since 2003, having undergone a total renovation. More recently in February 2019, a thorough refit with installation of the latest equipment including a Florigo high efficiency range ensuring a top-notch product.

Our frying team comprising of Andrew, Matty and Bayley have over 30 years experience in frying quality fish and chips. We aim to always provide quality, value, and service.

Come on in: you are guaranteed a personal welcome. We have been preparing fresh fish & chips for our customers for years and are always here for a chat and a laugh. That is why our customers feel so at home here. You can take away your food or you can eat it here with us – we have 2 intimate restaurants, seating in total 26 people.

Reservations are not essential but are encouraged for parties of 5 or more.
